Join us to discuss the ins and outs of financing natural building.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from a local lender, appraiser and Realtor about the purchase and financing process of natural building construction. This will be a myth-dispelling, educational discussion about the purchase and financing process in today’s financing world.

Visit ten beautiful projects that illustrate thoughtful passive solar design, careful construction, and the latest green technology. Learn from the homeowners and the professionals that saving energy need not be difficult or expensive. This is the 16th annual Cool House Tour and is sponsored by our friends at Texas Solar Energy Society and Austin Energy Green Building.

The Green Expo will feature more than 50 speakers and panels and demonstrations, including Howard Garrett (“The Dirt Doctor”) from Dallas. Friday will focus on issues for professionals, such as city planners, architects and green builders but the public is invited to attend. Saturday will be a fun-filled atmosphere featuring live music, lots of kids’ show and tell demonstrations, indoor and outdoor exhibits featuring alternative energy (solar, wind, geothermal, etc.) and more.
Design~Build~Live and our Bastrop fire rebuilding program, Earthen Love, will have a booth at the Expo. Please come by and visit us while you are there.
